When combing the cotton, short fibers and fluff are removed, leaving only the longest and thinnest fibers that are now closer to one another. After such processing the yarn is thinner and smoother, the fabric lacking rough short fibers becomes especially soft. The fabric made of combed cotton is durable, strong and perfectly moisture-absorbing.
